The following is a lsit of console cheats in Rome: Total War for the PC. Access the console by pressing the ~ key. (This is the tilde key on the keyboard to the left of the number 1)
To use the cheats, open the console and type in one of the following cheat codes:

give_trait <character> <trait> <number>
Given character gets given trait at indicated level.

season <summer/winter>
Change season.

date <year>
Change date.

kill_character <character>
Kill given character.

force_diplomacy <accept/decline/off>
Force opponent to accept diplomatic proposal.

give_trait_points <character> <trait> <number>
Get points for given character's trait.

move_character <name> <x,y>
Move given character to indicated coordinates.

list_traits
Lists all traits.

process_cq <city name>
Instantly complete all construction in que.

auto_win <attacker/defender>
Indicated side automatically wins.

toggle_fow
Toggle fog of war.

create_unit <settlement/character> <unit ID> <amount> <exp/armor/weapon>
Create unit with given stats.

add_population <city name> <#>
Increase population in given city by given amount.

add_money 20000
Get $20,000.

jericho
Falling walls in siege in battle map mode.

bestbuy or gamestop
10 percent cheaper units in campaign mode.

oliphaunt
40 percent larger elephants in campaign mode.

Entry location:
open your character information on F2 go to ships

change the name of your ship to:

godmode - activate godmode
expbooster - 11000 exp
moneybooster - 11000 gold
bestgun - gives the best gun
bestsaber - gives the best saber

Cheat Age of Mythology

To activate these cheat codes, press enter, type in the code, and then press enter again to activate it. Cheat codes must be in all caps (Ex: HOWDY will work as apposed to howdy). Cheats do not work in the demo version of AoM.

1. After enabling this cheat, move one of the villagers (not builders, farmers, etc.) into an opponent. Medusas will transform into Black Riders when killed. The Black Rider will transform into a Heavy Catapult after it dies.
2. Enable this code after establishing your Empire and clicking on the center of a town.
3. Enable this code after a catapult is selected.
4. Stealth Archers can walk on water and look as trees when stopped. They cannot be order to attack a specific unit. Move them close to the opponent and they may attack.
5. When Black Rider is killed, a Catapult will appear in its place
